Halloween party games and craft ideas for children

Children love dressing up for Halloween as their favorite characters, but in those days might not feel they can be around to go trick or treating. Why not something different this year and let your children invite their friends to a Halloween party? You can get all dressed up and enjoy some spooky fun in the safety of your home.

Here are some ideas for Halloween party games and craft activities for their entertainment.

Halloween PartyGames

1. The not-so-scary Halloween Parade

The children want to show, put on their costumes so some Mussy and have the children put on a Halloween Costume Parade. Getting to do their best dance moves to music and take care of an adult cry, cheer and frightened right!

2. The Trick or Treat Bonanza

Cut strips of paper and half of them write "treat" the word, write a series of other tricks like "jump on one leg" "growl like a lion"or "sing their favorite song." Put all the pieces of paper into a hat or a pillow cover and conceal some sweets and cakes for the room. At the party, ask each child a piece of paper to draw from a hat. You must then do the trick, or search for goodies.

Halloween Craft Ideas

When children play games have all their energies to the party sitting around the table to craft a quiet some time. Here are some ideas to get started:

1. Not so scaryHalloween Masks

Do you have a supply of white paper plates, glue, tape, markers and other craft items available and ask the kids their own masks. You can design as fun or as ghostly as they want. When all done with their creations a hole in each side of the plate and fix a piece of elastic, so that children wear their masks pose, and for a group photo!

2. The largest collection of Halloween booty

Children love party bags to take homeparties so let them decorate their own bags. You'll need the same craft supplies as for the mask making, but this time they'll need brown paper bags to decorate. When the decorating is complete let the children go back to playing and fill the loot bags with candy and Halloween themed treats, when the party is over they can take their loot bags home.
